No, I don't mean this post will be all about me! The lovely cosmetics brand Mememe sent me a couple of items to check out and this post is my first impressions! Here is how me me me describe themselves 'We pride ourselves on offering affordable luxury within an eclectic range of handbag essentials, on trend editions, classic lines and gift collections as individual and versatile as our customers and genuinely believe in going that extra mile in everything we do.'
They sent me them in a gorgeous black box with ribbon and cute mememe sticker! I love brands that really make an effort when working with bloggers, unlike some (I wont mention) who actually used a plastic bag as an envolope... anyway, regardless of how cute the parcel was I also adore the actual packaging of the products, the foundation specifically. I love the little floral type design on the bottle and that it's not glass so it isn't too heavy! I've used the foundation for two days now and my first impression is a really good one. It's in shade Porcelain Pure and I may actually be a little in love with it. I used my real techniques buffing brush to buff the foundation on and I think when it states it's a cream foundation rather than a liquid it's spot on. The foundation glides over my skin creating a flawless totally non cakey finish with a really build able coverage. I remember Zoe from Zoella mentioning it in her top 5 drugstore foundations saying it is a dupe for Mac Studio Sculpt (which I haven't tried, but I trust her judgement) you can pick it up on the mememe website on offer for £9.50! They also sell it in Superdrug.
The baked eyeshadow quad is in the shade Goddess Eyes and is the perfect shade for my green/brown eyes. I love how rich they are and the pigmentation is beautiful, you can create the perfect smokey eye with these quads and I love that its not four separate shadows but one in quarters as it takes up less room in my drawer! The only faults I can pick with either of these products is that the foundation has a rather odd smell, I think it's meant to be perfumed and having acne prone skin that probably isn't the best choice for me, but regardless it doesn't last long after you've applied it and it covers my skin so well!
Have you tried any mememe?
